We went to the zoo last weekend and had a great day. Almost all of the animals were out and, even though it was a bit chilly, the sun was shining.
The kids love the zoo as they have lots of activities which involve climbing, sliding, etc. It wore them out! :)
They also spent quite a bit of time in the sandbox digging for dinosaur fossils which were buried under the sand/dirt. They have these cute little shovels and brushes, so the kids can dig out and brush off their bones.
All in all, it was a lovely, exhausting day... :)
