Archery Tournament and Fundraiser

Here are some photos from when we went to an archery fundraiser for the local childrens hospital. It was awesome! The kids had a blast. There was face-painting, balloon animals, rock-climbing wall, bungee trampoline, and huge inflatable "tree-house" slide.

The guy that strapped H in the bungee said, "Uh....I don't think this will cinch any tighter..." Well, maybe that's because she's almost 6 and only weighs 34 lbs! Good grief, girl....

Go, H, Go!! She was sooo brave!

J (tiny man on the right) almost made it to the very top! Which nearly gave me a heart attack! :)

H coming down the inflatable slide.
It was a long way down! Whee!!

Both kids entered the bow tournament. H didn't have much competition and she even won 2nd place! She was soooo proud of herself! Daddy painted H's bow pink and she covered it in stickers.

J had a lot of competition in his age group, but had a good time practicing. His aim is incredible!

Poor Daddy was so busy helping the kids get through their competition, that he didn't have enough time to finish his own round. :( But he's a dedicated Daddy, so he was okay with that.......after awhile. :)

The fire department brought their biggest engine and let all the kids climb in it and wear their helmets. Too cute.... They even got the big water cannon hose out and let the kids help hold it while they sprayed water onto the hillside.

We set up our lawn chairs and J brought his bike to ride around the fields. I kept busy taking photos, passing out water bottles, and chasing the kids with sunscreen. Unfortunately, I forgot that having a new haircut usually means there are places that haven't seen the sun in a long time and I burned the top of my scalp! Ouch!

All in all, a beautiful, fun, and exhausting day.... We love Idaho!!!!

Man, your kids look like naturals climbing and shooting. They must take after their daddy. Not to say that you aren't talented at that kind of thing. :)

Lenes - you and i both know i am EXTREMELY talented and gifted in the "climbing and shooting" department! :)

Roy - oh, how i try to feed her! imagine this.... take an egg allergy, dairy intolerence and a picky eater and roll them into one child --- that is my girl. :(
