She Won 1st Place!

My sweet girl had to build an "ice house" for a science contest at school. Each child was to build the "house" to hold one ice cube and see whose cube lasted the longest without melting. The rules were that the house could not be larger than 8x8x8" and it needed to have an opening for the teacher to place an ice cube.

So with Daddy's help, together they built a beautiful "snowman-shaped ice house". :)

If you took the snowman top off, there was a small bed of dry ice, covered with foil, and then the ice cube was placed on top of the foil and the lid placed back again.

The kids checked on their ice cubes every hour during the day and recorded the melting results.

At the end of the day, guess whose ice cube was the biggest and not even close to melting? MY GIRL!! I'm so proud.... Nice job sweetie girl and Daddy!
